If our already low prices are still out of reach, we may be able to help. The Pet Project Foundation’s Spay/Neuter Financial Support Program exists for families who need it most — primarily serving San Clemente, Dana Point, and Capo Beach.

Important Information
Please review the following costs and requirements for approved applicants before your appointment.
Costs for Approved Applicants
$50 deposit required at the time surgery is scheduled for all approved applicants. (Deposit is not refundable without 48 hours notice.)
Day-of-surgery copayments will vary based on weight, services, and need.
Brachycephalic breeds (Boxers, Pugs, Bulldogs, Persian, Himalayan, or Burmese cats) will incur additional anesthesia fees.
Additional charges apply for complications or added procedures such as hernia repair, deciduous teeth removal, or dew claw removal.
Microchipping can be added at the time of surgery for an additional $15.
Eligibility Requirements
Annual household income must be under $56,000 for a single person or under $77,000 for a family.
Proof of income is required. Applications without documentation will not be approved.
Assistance is available only for pets you own. Community cats are not eligible.
This program primarily serves residents of San Clemente, Dana Point, and Capo Beach. Applicants from other areas may be considered if funds remain.
Do not apply if you can afford the prices already listed on our website. This program is for those who truly need it.
Dog & Cat Vaccines
No vaccines are required for the voucher program, but they are strongly suggested. You may request that your dog be vaccinated on the day of surgery.
