PRE-SURGICAL INSTRUCTIONS
Pre-Surgery Instructions for Dogs and Cats:
For adult pets: Please withhold food after midnight the night before surgery.
For kittens and puppies under 4 months old: Provide a teaspoon of wet food at 5 a.m. on the morning of surgery.
Ensure pets are kept indoors or confined the night before surgery to prevent them from eating.
Furever Family advises that your pet receive at least one FVRCP/DHPP vaccination before your visit.
Surgery Day Instructions: What you need to know
All dogs must arrive on a leash, and each cat must be in an individual carrier.
While hard plastic carriers are preferred, the following are also acceptable:
- Backpack carriers
- Soft carriers
Cardboard carriers are permitted only for kittens under 4 months of age.
